Syed Aman Shah and Maulana Faazl ur Rehman meet in Karachi

Syed Aman Shah, Provincial Convener of the Awaam Pakistan Party (APP) Balochistan, held an important meeting in Karachi with the head of Jamiat Ulema-e-Islam (F), Maulana Faazl ur Rehman. During the meeting, a detailed and serious discussion took place on the country’s overall political situation, with special focus on the current situation in Balochistan. On this occasion, JUI-F leader and former Member of the Balochistan Assembly, Khalil-ur-Rehman Dumar, along with others, was also present.

During the meeting, deep concern was expressed over the growing unrest in Balochistan, political deprivation, public issues, and the overall law-and-order situation. Speaking on the occasion, Syed Aman Shah said that Balochistan is currently passing through a sensitive and critical phase, where the people feel politically, economically, and socially isolated. He stated that it is the responsibility of Jamiat Ulema-e-Islam (F), along with other national and political parties, not to limit themselves to mere statements on the issue of Balochistan, but to adopt a clear, firm, and courageous stance.

He warned that if seriousness is not shown at this crucial stage, nothing but regret will remain in the future. Syed Aman Shah emphasized that ignoring the problems of Balochistan is equivalent to putting Pakistan’s future at risk, and bringing the people of the province out of a sense of deprivation is one of the most urgent needs of the time. According to him, political leadership must acknowledge ground realities and take practical steps to restore public trust in Balochistan.

Speaking on the occasion, Maulana Fazlur Rehman said that the situation in Balochistan is indeed alarming and that treating it merely as a provincial issue would be a grave mistake. He stated that Pakistan is incomplete without Balochistan. He added that Jamiat Ulema-e-Islam (F) has always raised its voice for the rights of the people of Balochistan and will continue to play its role in this regard.

Maulana Faazl ur Rehman further said that national unity demands that all political forces think beyond personal and party differences when it comes to the issue of Balochistan. During the meeting, both leaders agreed that the solution to Balochistan’s problems does not lie in the use of force or temporary policies, but in political dialogue, serious attention, and the restoration of public trust. They also expressed their resolve to continue consultations and coordination to raise a strong voice for Balochistan and highlight the issue at the national level.
