Karachi Dock Labour Board (KDLB) 385th Board Meeting was held today, 16 Jun 26, at the Conference Room of KPT Head Office. The meeting was chaired by the Chairman of KPT, who is also the Chairman of KDLB, along with members notified by the Government of Pakistan.

The Board discussed various issues related to KDLB and, after extensive deliberations, took 30 major decisions to address various issues that had been outstanding for many years.

Some of the key decisions included payment of gratuity to Dock workers, decisions on medical facilities, measures to reduce financial expenditures, Safety of Workers, issues related to the Charter of Demand of KDLB employees and Dock workers, etc. The decisions are expected to greatly improve administrative functioning, financial strength, and the welfare of the KDLB workers and employees.
