Wafi Energy Pakistan Limited, the exclusive licensee of Shell fuel and lubricants in Pakistan, has confirmed Zubair Shaikh as Chief Executive Officer. With over 19 years of experience in the energy and financial sectors, he has successfully led the company following Wafi Energy Holding’s acquisition of Shell Pakistan in November 2024.

“Zubair’s confirmation reflects the Board’s confidence in his ability to lead Wafi Energy Pakistan,” said Chairman Ghassan Al Amoudi, noting his deep sector knowledge and capability to drive value for stakeholders.

Zubair started his career with Shell in 2006, progressing through various roles and serving as General Manager for both lubricants and retail fuels. Wafi Energy Pakistan, building on Shell’s 78 years of brand presence in the country, is committed to meeting Pakistan’s energy needs and supporting economic growth.
