Malik Khuda Bakhsh, President of the Pakistan Business Forum – Karachi Chapter, said that the Forum is holding extensive consultations to promote strong business growth in the country so that effective proposals can be made to support the government. The Forum’s priorities include addressing challenges faced by the business community, helping businesses expand their operations, and enhancing market competitiveness through innovation. He expressed these views while addressing the second meeting of the Pakistan Business Forum Karachi Chapter, held at a local hotel.
Vice Presidents Arshad Farooq, Mehmood Yaqoob, Bina Amin, Ejaz Alam, and General Secretary Ms. Rubina Rasheed of the Karachi Chapter were also present. The meeting’s purpose was to make important strategic decisions to promote Pakistan’s business landscape and contribute to the country’s economic growth.
Malik Khuda Bakhsh further emphasized the importance of engaging with government bodies to influence business-friendly policies, fostering networking and partnerships, and prioritizing sustainable development to strengthen the national economy. He reiterated the significant role the Forum plays in improving Pakistan’s business environment and advancing economic growth.
The primary agenda of the meeting was the formation of the Executive Committee for the Karachi Chapter. It was unanimously decided that core committee members would submit at least two nominations for potential candidates within a week. The selected candidates will be evaluated based on their expertise, commitment, and contribution to the Forum’s long-term goals of business development and growth.
One of the key topics discussed was the clarification of the core objectives and strategic priorities of the Karachi Chapter. After a comprehensive discussion, Malik Khuda Bakhsh outlined the key goals. He stressed the importance of positioning Pakistan as a competitive global player by promoting business success and innovation. He also highlighted the need to improve Pakistan’s soft image internationally by establishing the country as a hub for business excellence and attracting foreign investment to create long-term opportunities for economic progress.
