The Institute of Electrical and Electronics Engineers Pakistan (IEEEP) Karachi Centre, in collaboration with Badar Expo Solutions, held the soft launch of the 15th IEEEP Fair 2026 at a local hotel. Chief Guest Mr. Saquib Fayyaz Magoon emphasized the importance of reducing reliance on imported technology and focusing on local innovation. Special guest Mr. Shahab Qamar Ansari highlighted the Energy Department’s support for the fair and Pakistan’s energy challenges.

Engr. Muhammad Navid Akram Ansari, Chairman of IEEEP Karachi, described the fair as the largest exhibition in the electrical and electronics sectors, with over 200 exhibitors showcasing cutting-edge technologies. He announced the launch of the “Made in Pakistan Excellence Awards” to recognize local manufacturers.

Mr. Zohair Naseer, CEO of Badar Expo Solutions, noted the fair’s role in connecting manufacturers with buyers and promoting innovation. The event was attended by various dignitaries and media representatives. The main IEEEP Fair 2026 is scheduled for 18th–20th August, 2026, at the Karachi Expo Centre.
