On April 23, 2025, the Trade Development Authority of Pakistan (TDAP) and the Pakistan Software Export Board (PSEB), in collaboration with the Pakistan Embassy in Tokyo, organized the Pakistan Pavilion at Japan IT Week 2025, held at Tokyo Big Sight from April 23 to 25, 2025.

The pavilion showcases 18 Pakistani companies that specialise in various IT domains, including IT services, IT consulting, game development, software development, and embedded systems. These companies are showcasing their cutting-edge expertise.

The Pakistan Pavilion was formally inaugurated by Mr. Talha Bin Khalid, the Charge d’Affaires of the Pakistan Embassy in Japan, Ms. Madhi Ali, the Trade and Investment Counsellor, Mr. Shahbaz Hameed from PSEB, representatives from JICA, and participating companies.

The pavilion drew significant attention from Japanese buyers, who showed keen interest in the innovative technologies presented by Pakistani companies. The participating companies are optimistic about generating substantial business leads from the event, marking an important milestone for Pakistan’s IT industry. As Pakistan’s tech talent aligns with Japan’s innovation ecosystem, both nations look forward to a future shaped by dynamic and mutually beneficial bilateral partnerships in the IT sector.r.
