Malik Muhammad Bostan, Chairman of the Exchange Companies Association of Pakistan (ECAP), the representative organization of money changers in Pakistan, termed the visit of the President of the United Arab Emirates and Ruler of Abu Dhabi, Sheikh Mohamed bin Zayed Al Nahyan, to Pakistan as highly successful. He said that this visit will strengthen mutual and trade relations between the two countries, and that cooperation in economic collaboration, investment, energy, infrastructure development, IT, technology, and people-to-people contacts will drive growth in these sectors.

Malik Muhammad Bostan stated that the agreement between the Prime Minister of Pakistan, Mian Shehbaz Sharif, and the President of the UAE and Ruler of Abu Dhabi, Sheikh Mohamed bin Zayed Al Nahyan, on increasing bilateral trade will lead to mutual development. Both sides reaffirmed their commitment to continuing to work together to achieve shared goals of peace, stability, and sustainable development. He added that Sheikh Mohamed bin Zayed Al Nahyan’s visit to Pakistan will also lead to mutual understanding on regional and international issues.

Malik Muhammad Bostan further said that Sheikh Mohamed bin Zayed Al Nahyan’s salute in response to the Chief of Army Staff, Field Marshal Syed Asim Munir’s salute, won the hearts of the Pakistani nation. He added that this visit will further strengthen the long-standing friendship and brotherly relations between Pakistan and the UAE.

He also mentioned that a few days earlier, the UAE Consul General in Karachi, Bakheet Ateeq Al Remeithi, had shared good news at an event, stating that major investment from the United Arab Emirates in Pakistan is expected in the coming months. He said that Sheikh Mohamed bin Zayed Al Nahyan’s visit is expected to accelerate investment. However, he emphasized that the process of issuing UAE visas for Pakistani citizens should be made easier so that workers can go to the UAE and foreign exchange can flow into Pakistan.
