Over 1,200 orphan students to spend fun-filled days at Karachi’s elite holiday resort

Over 1200 orphan children from underprivileged families will spend a fun-filled day at an elite holiday resort on Karachi’s outskirts. These orphan children are enrolled in the charitable schools of the non-profit Green Crescent Trust (GCT) in the deprived parts of Karachi.
2114 orphan children are enrolled at 170 charitable schools in underprivileged parts of Sindh. The GCT will soon organize similar leisure days for the rest of the orphans at famous recreational spots in Hyderabad and Sukkur.
Over 32,800 students from destitute families are enrolled in the GCT’s schools.
“We organize these fun-filled days every year at the elite recreational spots to entertain orphan students in our schools in the best possible way,” said GCT CEO Zahid Saeed.
He said the GCT conducted support activities throughout the year to help these orphan students and their families and to honorably provide them with quality education and the necessities of life.
Sindh Local Government Minister Saeed Ghani will likely be the chief guest on the leisure day in Karachi.
