The total liquid foreign reserves held by the country stood at US$ 23,577.9 million on 04-Jun-2021. The break-up of the foreign reserves position is as under: –

Foreign reserves held by the State Bank of Pakistan: US$ 16,414.9 million

Net foreign reserves held by commercial banks : US$ 7,163.0 million

Total liquid foreign reserves             : US$ 23,577.9 million

During the week ended 04-Jun-2021, SBP received proceeds of WAPDA Green Eurobond amounting to US$ 499.0 million. After accounting for external debt repayments, SBP reserves increased by US$ 281 million to US$ 16,414.9 million.
