In August 2026, auto sales (including cars, light commercial vehicles, vans, jeeps, and electric vehicles) totaled 15,600 units. This reflects an 11% increase year-over-year (YoY) but a 21% decrease month-over-month (MoM), according to data from the Pakistan Automobile Manufacturers Association (PAMA).
Cumulatively, auto volumes rose 41% YoY to 35,400 units. SAZEW has not yet reported its passenger car and three-wheeler sales. Excluding SAZEW, auto volumes fell 19% MoM but increased by 20% YoY.
