Mr. Abdul Razzaq Dawood, Adviser to Prime Minister for Commerce Textile, Industry and Production and Investment is expected to inaugurate the 5th Pakistan Mega Leather Show 2019 to be held on 27th till 29th of January, 2019 at International Expo Centre in Lahore.

Foreign buyers and customers from Turkey, France, Germany, Hong Kong, Poland, UK, USA, Japan and other countries are likely to grace the occasion. This was announced in a joint press conference organized by Pakistan Footwear manufacturers Association (PFMA) and Pakistan Tanners Association (PTA) at a local hotel in Lahore today. The press conference was addressed by: Mr. Hassan Javed, Chairman, PFMA and Mr. Agha Saiddain, Chairman, PTA and others.

Pakistan Mega Leather Show is a series of vibrant annual events promoting a wide range of leather, its products including Footwear, Garments, Gloves etc. This event will attract international customers towards tremendous potential that exits in the leather sector of Pakistan to provide a viable platform for stronger ties or collaborations between the allied industries of the Leather Sector of Pakistan.

Pakistan Leather Industry is the third contributor towards the overall exports of the country during the financial year 2017 – 18, the export of leather US $948.265 million, which is 4.08% of our total exports and 2.67% of GDP. Leather employees about one million people directly or indirectly.

This event will feature 250 national / international exhibitors. The foreign exhibitors also include many Chinese and Indian organizations, shown keen interest of Pakistan.
