Pakistan Tanners Association (PTA) has informed its members to participate in the 10th Pakistan Mega Leather Show, held from January 26 to 28, 2025, at Lahore Int’l Expo Centre, Lahore, PAKISTAN.

PTA hoped that all befitting manners with many additions would ensure lucrative, productive, and result-oriented participation in the next 10th PMLS’2025, Lahore.

It is here recalled that PTA successfully organised the 9th PMLS at Lahore consecutively, which has now been acclaimed domestically and internationally.

The competent authority of PTA is considering the exciting possibility of introducing more features, particularly the inclusion of foreign participation, a successful addition in the last Show in January’24 Lahore. This expansion will create a broader and more diverse ambience, offering a larger spectrum of opportunities.

Leather industry export data

According to LEATHERBIZ.COM, in the first ten months of the country’s current financial year, from July 2023 to April 2024, Pakistan’s leather sector brought in export revenues of $698.5 million. This figure represents a decline of 9.7% compared to the same period in the previous financial year. The local industry has attributed this decline to high costs and sluggish demand worldwide. Exports of finished leather fell in value by almost 20% to reach $113.2 million, while garments, bags, and gloves declined 6.2% to $452.5 million. Footwear exports fell by 2.6% to $132.8 million.
