Pakistan foreign reserves has been further declined due to due to external debt servicing and other official payments, says central bank statement issued today. According to State Bank of Pakistan, the total liquid foreign reserves held by the country stood at US$13,996.1 million on 30 November2018.
The break-up of the foreign reserves position is as under: –
Foreign reserves held by the State Bank of Pakistan: US$ 7,502.1 million
Net foreign reserves held by commercial banks : US$ 6,494.0 million
Total liquid foreign reserves : US$ 13,996.1 million
During the week ending 30 November2018, SBP’s reserves decreased by US$560 million to US$7,502.1 million, due to external debt servicing and other official payments.
