Karachi Port Trust (KPT) is handling bulk wheat consignments at Karachi Gateway Terminal Multipurpose Limited (KGTML), underscoring Karachi Port’s vital role in ensuring the smooth flow of essential commodity imports into the country.

The geared vessel MV GOKOVA M, carrying a declared cargo of 51,000 metric tonnes of wheat, berthed at Berths 16 and 17 after arriving at Karachi Port at 1225 hours on October 28, 2026.

Another geared vessel, MV GREAT RAINBOW, loaded with 59,132 metric tonnes of wheat, is scheduled to arrive at the port on November 3, 2026.

Together, the two vessels will bring more than 110,000 metric tonnes of wheat to Karachi Port, highlighting KPT’s operational capacity and KGTML’s ability to efficiently handle large-scale bulk cargo while supporting the country’s food security and supply chain requirements.
