Karachi Port Trust (KPT) has recorded a remarkable improvement in the Container Port Performance Index (CPPI) 2025, climbing from 99th position in 2024 to 69th in 2025 among 400 ports worldwide. The port’s CPPI score also rose sharply from 30.0 to 45.7, reflecting significant progress in operational efficiency and service delivery.

According to the report, KPT now ranks among vital global and national hubs, alongside major ports such as Singapore, Jebel Ali, and Port Qasim. This achievement underscores Pakistan’s growing presence in international maritime trade.

KPT attributed the success to its commitment to operational excellence and the dedication of Team KPT, marking a milestone in its journey toward becoming one of the world’s top 50 ports by 2027.
