On April 25, 2025, an expert delegation from the Republic of Kazakhstan visited the Karachi Port Trust Head Office. This visit was part of their two-week tour to explore business opportunities at Karachi Port, Port Bin Qasim, and Gwadar Port.

The delegation, led by Mr. Maxat Mutashev from the Ministry of Transport of Kazakhstan’s Railway and Water Transport, received a warm welcome at the KPT Head Office.

During the visit, the delegates received a detailed briefing on Karachi Port’s operational capabilities, state-of-the-art facilities, and its strategic importance. Following the briefing, a discussion took place about business prospects and avenues for mutual cooperation in trade and economic collaboration, with a focus on enhancing the transport and logistics sectors of both countries.

The delegation also toured the port area, where they observed the operations of Karachi Port. They expressed a keen interest in the port’s activities and the potential for future partnerships in the maritime sector, fostering stronger ties to facilitate maritime trade between Pakistan and Kazakhstan.
