KATI felicitate Sindh Govt for clearing Korangi Causeway

Korangi Association of Trade and Industry (KATI) President Salman Aslam and CEO KITE Limited Zubair Chhaya felicitated Sindh Government to clear Korangi Causeway and industrial areas after torrential rains and flooding in Karachi, they appreciated the Sindh government, especially the time steps and efforts of Sindh Chief Minister Syed Murad Ali Shah, Chief Secretary Dr. Sohail Rajput, Commissioner Karachi Muhammad Iqbal Memon, Deputy Commissioner Korangi Muhammad Ali Zaidi, and Sindh Local Government Secretary Najam Ahmad Shah.

They said that immediate steps taken by the Sindh government on the occasion of Eid-ul-Adha were welcome which restored the flow of traffic in the affected area as the roads of Korangi Industrial Area were completely closed. They further said that the Chief Minister Sindh, Chief Secretary Sindh, Commissioner Karachi, and others deserved congratulations after being aware of all the problems of the KATI industrialists, the Chief Minister of Sindh reached the spot and issued timely orders for rehabilitation works. They said that the Sindh government took timely steps considering the gravity of the issue.

President KATI said that millions of people commute to Korangi industrial area for employment and they were facing many difficulties due to rainwater which was removed by the Sindh government. He hoped that the Sindh government would continue to take all possible steps to alleviate the problems faced by the industrialists and industrial workers. Salman Aslman also said that the Sindh government officials gave up their Eid-ul-Azha engagements and worked tirelessly to solve the problems of the industrial area which is commendable. CM, Chief Secretary of Sindh with other higher officials are always keen on resolving the problems of the business community, especially in the Korangi industrial area, for which we are grateful to Sindh Chief Minister Syed Murad Ali Shah and Chief Secretary Dr . Sohail Rajput.

CEO Kite Limited said that Korangi Causeway is affected by heavy rains and water flow due to heavy rains , especially in Balochistan. However, due to the closure of causeways and urban flooding on other highways, all roads connected to the industrial area are closed. By repairing the section, the EBM Causeway Road was opened to traffic for the convenience of the public, which is a commendable process.
