S. M. Tanveer, Patron-in-Chief of the United Business Group, and Saquib Fayyaz Magoon, Chairman of BMP-Progressive, have urged the DGTO and the Ministry of Commerce to reduce the amendment fee for the Memorandum and Articles of Association for Women Chambers of Commerce and Industry by 50%.

Currently set at PKR 100,000, the fee significantly burdens these chambers, which often operate on limited financial resources and rely on membership subscriptions. Both leaders emphasised the importance of supporting Women’s Chambers in their role in promoting women entrepreneurship and building institutional capacity.

They hope for favourable consideration of this request to further women’s empowerment and economic inclusivity.
