Patron in chief of Korangi Association of Trade & Industry(KATI) SM Muneer , President KATI Tariq Malik , Senior Vice President Salman Aslam and Vice President Junaid Naqi welcomed the decision of Federal government to appoint Miftah Ismail as Adviser to the Prime Minister on Finance, Revenue and Economic Affairs, with the status of Federal Minister.

SM Muneer in a statement said that Miftah Ismail was a qualified intelligent Economic expert along with a successful Industrialist. He said that Miftah holds the highest credential for the post and business community see a ray of hope with this appointment. He sees this decision as right choice by federal government. President KATI Tariq Malik also applauded that decision and said that in this short period Miftah have to take steps to decrease budget and current account deficit, although it is a great challenge but industrialist and business community shows full confidence in him. He also praised PM Shahid Khaqan Abbasi for making this choice to appoint Miftah Ismail for the key role of his economic team.
