The Karachi Port Trust (KPT) continues to play a proactive role in mitigating the impact of the evolving regional maritime crisis by facilitating uninterrupted maritime trade. In this regard, the CGLA vessel MV PHOTON berthed today at the Karachi International Container Terminal (KICT) with transhipment cargo destined for Middle Eastern ports. This marks the third transhipment call at Karachi Port in recent days, reflecting the growing confidence of international shipping lines in the port’s operational reliability and strategic location.
The arrival of MV PHOTON underscores Pakistan’s and KPT’s role as a key regional maritime hub, capable of supporting global shipping lines during ongoing disruptions.
Despite the prevailing regional tensions, Karachi Port remains fully operational and committed to facilitating maritime trade, ensuring the smooth flow of cargo through efficient transhipment services and reliable port operations.
