A special “One window” operation for new electricity connections will be established at Korangi Association of Trade & Industry (KATI), it was decided during a meeting participated by KATI representatives and K-Electric officials. President of KATI Danish Khan, Chairman& CEO KITE Zubair Chhaya, Senior Vice President Faraz-ur-Rehman and head of KATI’s standing committee on KE represented the association while from K-Electric Director External Affairs Asmer Naeem, Ahsan Anis Regional Head South, Mukhtar Ahmed Rao, GM IBC-KIMZ and others took part in the meeting. KATI’s office bearers briefed KE officials regarding issues of electricity faced by industry in the area.

It was decided to form committee to resolve day to day issues and other bigger issues as well.

The meeting also decided to set up an one window operation desk at KATI for new connection applications for the industries in Korangi Industria Area. KE representative also briefed about a new facility offer of “Power Audit”, which can be help full to reduce energy consumption and bills, and could be helpful to lower production cost of industrial units.
