inDrive has partnered with Tech Valley, a Google for Education Premier Partner, to launch Digital Safar, a free online programme on digital safety and AI literacy for inDrive drivers’ children in Pakistan.
The initiative will reach 300 students in grades 6–10 through three weeks of live Urdu classes, beginning Oct 19 after an orientation in Islamabad. The curriculum combines Google’s Be Internet Awesome and Gemini Academy tracks, teaching children to protect accounts, spot fake messages, and use AI responsibly.
Minister of State for Education Wajiha Qamar praised the effort, noting it helps children “meet the internet with lessons that keep them safe.” inDrive Country Lead Awais Saeed said the programme supports drivers’ aspirations for their children, while Tech Valley CEO Umar Farooq called it “real skills, real reach and real accountability.”
