ILMA University hosted a spectacular international virtual conference on social media

Ilma University went into a full bloom mode in organizing a superb International Virtual Conference on the Transformative Role Social Media Amid COVID-19. This auspicious event was conducted under the multidimensional banner of Faculty of Media & Design.

Eminent keynote speakers were invited from prestigious universities world over to propagate on the varied influences of social media during the pandemic. Prominent papers were presented by researchers, academicians and students pursuing the different study programs or associated with reputable organizations. The pertinent discourse centred around the causes and effects of social media with the heated debate on its large scale impact on societies globally.

As stated by Dr Donna Halper (eminent keynote speaker), ‘We are here today in the virtual conference due to the undeniable connectivity of social media which has bridged the gap amazingly well so this truly rules in its favour.’

It was indeed an honour for Ilma University to host such a phenomenal virtual conference with the leading educationalists from US, UK, Canada and New Zealand among others.
