Engro Fertilizers is honoured to support the Punjab Transport Authority, Government of Punjab, in raising awareness of mandatory vehicle emission testing, an important step toward improving air quality and creating healthier communities across the province. The initiative aims to monitor and reduce harmful vehicle emissions by encouraging vehicle owners to have their vehicles tested and certified. As sustainability is a shared responsibility, the campaign aims to raise public awareness of everyone’s role in contributing to cleaner air.
In the first phase, all vehicles with Internal Combustion Engines (ICE) must undergo emission testing and obtain certification by 15 October 2026, starting in Lahore.
The campaign aligns with Engro Fertilizers’ THRIVE framework, which reflects the company’s commitment to creating a healthier and more sustainable future across its areas of impact. With ‘Energy & Emissions Stewardship’ as one of THRIVE’s key pillars, THRIVE reinforces the importance of responsible action for people, communities, and the environment. Supporting this awareness campaign is a natural extension of that commitment beyond Engro Fertilizers’ own operations.
Every vehicle that meets emission standards helps keep our communities’ air cleaner. By getting their vehicles tested and certified, vehicle owners can help build a healthier environment for generations to come.
