Decision of Baluchistan High Court which to validated the nominations made by former President of FPCCI and nominated vice President Eng. Daro Khan Achakzai for SAARC Chamber of Commerce is the first victory of United Business group in year 2020, It was said by central spokesperson of the group Gulzar Feroz in a statement released on Saturday.
According to the details Eng. Daro Khan have made these nominations as the President of Federation of Chambers of Commerce & Industries (FPCCI) on 28 November 2019 and also had sent them to the secretariat. He have nominated Iftikhar Ali Malik for Chairman , himself for vice President and for executive committee he named SM Muneer, Zubair Tufail, Khalid Tawwab , Mazhar Ali Nasir, Khalid Javed( Islamabad), Zahid Shinwari(KPK), Munawar Khan and Mrs. Fitrat Ilyas Bilour .
He also nominated Saifullah Zamkawala, Pervaiz Lala, Aamir Ata Bajwa, Javed Amin, Malik Sohail , Haji Jamal Uddin Achakzai, Shaheen Sarwana, Qurban Ali, Shabnam Zafar and Hina Mansab Khan for general body of the chamber. But Anjum Nisar, who took the charge of FPCCI President office on 1st of January, has changed the nomination and only kept remain the nominations of Iftikhar Ali Malik as President of SAARC chamber and Aamir Ata Bajwa as the member of General body but replaced the name of Eng. Daro Khan Achakzai and nominated Senator Haji Gulam Ali as Vice President instead of him.
Eng. Daro Khan through his consul Muhammad Amir Nawaz Rana had challenged this decision in Baluchistan High Court with the CP no. 2020/181.Headed by Chief Justice of Baluchistan High Court Jamal Khan Mandokhail two member bench after hearing the case had decided that the nominees list sent by Eng. Daro Khan was valid and declared illegal the changes made by Anjum Nisar.
Spokesperson of UBG Gulzar Feroz applauded the decision as historical. He said that from now decline of Business panel would start. He also noted that the honor and reputation of FPCCI had earned by UBG during 5 years, the businessmen Panel had ruined that within four months. He also said that office bearers of FPCCI could get relief for business community and are just staying at their homes. He also congratulated SM Muneer, Iftikhar Ali Malik, Eeng. Daro Khan and all office bearers of UBG.
