Talented young artists from across Pakistan passionately participated in the FAST International Art Competition held at a local art center in Karachi, showcasing their creative skills and making the nation proud on an international platform. Hundreds of young artists participated in the competition, with the children’s performances particularly standing out.
Prominent political figures, including Miftah Ismail, Secretary General of the Awaam Pakistan Party, and Syed Aman Shah, Provincial Convener of Balochistan for the Awaam Pakistan Party, attended as chief guests.
In his address, Miftah Ismail praised the youth, stating that “Art is not merely a form of expression—it is a covenant that captures the thoughts, emotions, and aspirations of the younger generation. Platforms like these illuminate Pakistan’s future because our youth are our most valuable asset.”
Syed Aman Shah, Provincial Convener Balochistan, Awaam Pakistan Party emphasized the importance of nurturing the diverse talents of young people: “We must not confine our youth to the pursuit of jobs alone; rather, we must highlight and harness their creative, scientific, and artistic abilities. “Quoting the famous poet Allama Iqbal, he recited: “Iqbal is not despondent about his barren land; with a drop of dew, this soil can become fertile, O Saaqi.”
He stressed that today’s youth have the power to change the world not just with a pen, brush, or microphone, but with their ideas, character, and sense of purpose. The competition featured diverse art categories, including painting, calligraphy, digital Art, and environmental themes. Judges evaluated the works and awarded top honors to many young artists. Awards, certificates, and special shields were presented in various categories.
At the end of the event, Miftah Ismail and Syed Aman Shah distributed certificates to participants and praised the organizers for providing platforms that enable Pakistani youth to showcase their talents internationally.
This event marks a significant step towards promoting creative and cultural activities in Pakistan, offering the younger generation an opportunity not only to advance but also to connect with the global community.
