The Pakistan Pavilion inaugurated by the Honourable Consul General of Pakistan in Hong Kong, Mr. Riaz Ahmed Shaikh, on 12th March’2025, along with Mr.Hamid Arshad Zahur, Chairman, PTA & other distinguished guests/participants, exhibiting their products from Pakistan in APLF’25, Hong Kong.
It is shared on this auspicious occasion that 45 Pakistani Exporters are participating in APLF’2025 at Hong Kong displaying their products ranging from value-added Finished Leather of all sorts of Cow, Buffalo Hides, Sheep & Goat Skins to Leather Garments, Leather Footwear, Leather bags, Leather Gloves & Leather Products/made-ups. They are here to get maximum exposure in the Hong Kong market and are eyeing expanding their business in the mainland Chinese market.
A thematic pavilion with eye-catching design and colour scheme has been erected with the help of TDAP and the Consulate General of Pakistan, Hong Kong, which will surely become an extensive gateway for the 32 Pakistani exporters of Finished Leather and 13 Leather Garments/products/ bags etc. It was hoped that these companies would be able to conclude sizeable business, gain business collaborations and joint ventures for the promotion of the country’s exports of the Leather Sector. Before participation, an extensive marketing & dissemination campaign has been initiated with the support of the Consulate General of Pakistan, Hong Kong, attracting the Chinese/Hong Kong buyers/customers/visitors to visit the Pakistan Pavilion in APLF’2025, Hong Kong, for business tie up/collaboration.
It is hoped that with the support of all stakeholders, Pakistan’s export share of Finished Leather, Leather Garments, and Leather Footwear/Products will be enhanced in the Chinese market compared to the corresponding period of the previous year.
Chairman of the PTA, Mr. Hamid Arshad Zahur, thanked the Consul General, Mr. Riaz Ahmed Shaikh, for gracing the occasion with his presence and inaugurating the Pakistan Pavilion in APLF’2025, HK.
In his remarks, the Consul General of Pakistan appreciated the quality and display of products presented by Pakistani exporters and assured maximum support to the Pakistani exhibitors. He aimed to make participation more result-oriented to achieve the desired objective of promoting the country’s exports.
