China delegations likely to attend APLF in Dubai

The lifting of China’s compulsory quarantine and travel restrictions and the opening for outbound travel for business and tourism has sparked a return of Chinese exhibitors and buyers to APLF.

Supported by China Leather Industry Association (CLIA) and local industry associations, the delegations from China’s Fujian, Hebei, Guangdong, Shandong, Zhejiang provinces, intend to both source from and sell to the international exhibitors and buyers expected at APLF in Dubai, which is due to be held from 13 – 15 March at the Dubai World Trade Centre (DWTC).

The delegations, with a number of around 60 companies, are manufacturers and exporters of bags, footwear, and components for the shoe industry.

After three years of restrictions, the Chinese leather, footwear and leather goods industries are again moving. With the opening doors to international markets, their first port of call will be APLF in Dubai’s Middle Eastern business hub.
