The Federation of Pakistan Chambers of Commerce and Industry (FPCCI) signed a distinctive memorandum of understanding (MoU) with CCPIT Ningxia on association with China Arab Expo. The Special Signing Ceremony was organized at the Federation of Pakistan Chambers of Commerce and Industry Head Office in Karachi on December 13th, 2018.

Dr. Iqbal Thaheem, Secretary General, FPCCI and Mr. Yue Zhao, Deputy Division Chief of Exposition Affairs, CCPIT Ningxia signed the MoU on behalf of their respective organizations. FPCCI has been nominated to be the sole organizer for the next five (05) editions of Pakistan Pavilion for China Arab Expo including China Arab Expo 2019.

The key force of the MoU is to promote mutually beneficial cooperation between Pakistan and China in various fields such as trade, economy and technology. The agreement endeavors at encouraging cooperation on promoting trade between the members of both the organization of Pakistan and China. The MoU seeks to strengthen bilateral cooperation by the visits of commercial and economic delegations for further business collaborations and encouraging inflow of investment and technology. Both the organizations would also work towards promoting the potential investment and help the development of small and medium enterprise business as well as exporting products.
