The Pakistan Banks Association (PBA) has announced the Pakistan Banking Summit 2026 (PBS’26), set for July 7–8, 2026, in Karachi. This premier industry event, hosted by the PBA, aims to foster collaboration and advance policy dialogue to develop Pakistan’s financial sector. Following the success of its inaugural edition, PBS’26 will bring together senior leaders to discuss key issues affecting the economy and finance.
During a press conference, PBA leaders, including Atif Bajwa, Zafar Masud, and Muneer Kamal, highlighted the summit’s importance in shaping financial policy. The event will feature nine sessions covering various topics, including the economic outlook, digital banking, Islamic finance, and talent development.
With over 1,200 participants expected, the summit will include more than 15 international speakers and 20 local thought leaders. Keynote addresses will be delivered by notable figures, such as Senator Muhammad Aurangzeb and Jameel Ahmad, Governor of the State Bank of Pakistan.
The summit aims to shape a stronger, more competitive financial sector by encouraging collaboration, sharing best practices, and fostering engagement between the public and private sectors to support long-term economic growth.
