According to Organizer of the 2nd Int’l Summit on Wind Energy Theme: From Energy Sufficiency to Energy Security” to be held on November 22, 2017 in Karachi Marriott Hotel with the support & collaboration of Sindh Energy Dept (Govt of Sindh); Private Power and Infrastructure Board (PPIB),World Wind Energy Association (WWEA); Alternative Energy Development Board (AEDB); Asian Development Bank (ADB); USAID, KFW, Danish Embassy, US Embassy, UK Embassy; Pak-German Chamber of Commerce & Industry and Sindh Board of Investment (Govt of Sindh).

The objectives of Wind Energy Summit are to:

1. Highlight the need of Energy Security measures after achieving Energy Sufficiency in the country.

2. Discuss the initiatives & investments made by Government Entities and IPPs in Wind Energy Projects and challenges faced by them.

3. Define the roles of Federal & Provincial Governments in promulgating attractive policies and plans to develop Wind Energy sector in Pakistan.

2nd Int’l Summit on Wind Energy will focus on wind power projects, challenges and security of Wind energy in our country.
