PIA plane crashed at residential area in Karachi today

A Pakistan International Airlines (PIA) aircraft has crashed in a residential area near the Karachi Airport in Sindh province of Pakistan today’s afternoon. PIA spokesperson Abdul Sattar confirmed the media that crash and added that the flight, A-320, was carrying 90 passengers and was flying from Lahore to Karachi.

Huge fire breakout at the crash site and rescue operation is about to start.

Shibli Faraz, Federal Minister for Information and Broadcasting has also confirmed the unfortunate accident and he on the directive of PM is taking necessary coronation with all stakeholders.

According to local channels, rescue teams arrived at casualty site and taking necessary steps to reach the spot where aircraft crashed. They are facing difficulty due to hug smoke rising from the site of the crash.

Ambulances and rescue officials arrived at the scene to help residents.
