Zong, Pakistan’s leading Information Services and Technology Innovation Company, is launching the nation’s first Blockchain-based Degree Attestation System in partnership with the Higher Education Commission (HEC). This new system will replace traditional paper processes with a secure and fully digital platform, ensuring academic records are tamper-proof thanks to blockchain’s transparency and security. It enables instant verification for global employers and eliminates the need for in-person visits, benefiting over 6 million students and alumni.

Mr. Farooq Raza Khan, Executive Director & Country Head of Business Solutions at Zong, emphasized that this project builds a foundation of trust and showcases their capability in digital transformation. The pilot rollout is planned for the coming months, initially focusing on the education sector, with plans to expand to other government organizations, reinforcing Zong’s position as the country’s digital backbone.
