Youth Convention & All Sindh Youth Debate contest titled “Hum Zinda Qaum Hain” concludes

Sports & Youth Affairs Department & Youth Parliament organized Youth Convention & All Sindh Youth Debate Contest titled ‘Hum Zinda Qaum Hain’, yesterday at Hyderabad Club, Hyderabad. The motive of this event was to promote peace, harmony and debating culture in Sindh and provide youth an opportunity to gain versatile knowledge cutting across several disciplines outside the learner’s normal academic subjects. The event was attended by politicians, stake holders, social activists and people from different walks of life.

 

The Guests included Sabir Qaimkhani (Member National Assembly), Syed Ahmed Rashid (Leader PSP), Mr. Nehal Hashmi (Former Senator), Farheen Mughal (Leader PPP), Aneesa Waliullah (Leader PTI), Rais Ahmed Khan (District Governor Rotaract International), Adeel Siddiqui (Patron Youth Parliament) & Marvi Awan (Social Activist).

 

The judgment panel included Idrees Ghazi, Raheel Akhtar, Waqar Ahmed and Shah Nihal Idrees and youngsters from all over Sindh.

 

Welcoming the guests Chairman Youth Parliament Rizwan Jaffar said: “Youth Parliament is established to unite youth from different backgrounds and engage them in healthy activities”.

 

Addressing the participants Sabir Qaimkhani stressed upon the need for motivating youth to actively take part healthy activities.

 

More than 64% of Pakistan is represented by the youth who have the energy and passion to lead and Youth Parliament is the best platform to nourish and nurture them, said Nehal Hashmi (Former Senator).

 

Large number of youngsters from all over Sindh appeared for auditions of Debate Contest and 20 finalists appeared in Final Competition. The event ended with award ceremony and group photo.
