Wafi Energy Pakistan reports strong growth in Q1 2026

Wafi Energy Pakistan Limited (WEPL) announced a profit after tax of PKR 2,164 million for Q1 2026, up 148% from PKR 873 million last year, amid global energy market volatility.

The company won the Circular Economy Award for its eco-friendly Shell station in Rawalpindi and received recognition for women’s representation at the managerial level.

Wafi Energy expanded by adding 18 Shell retail sites, 6 Shell Select stores, and upgrading 6 stations. Growth in its Lubricants business was solid, supported by new partnerships, including a collaboration with Indus Motor Company for Toyota aftermarket lubricants.

CEO Zubair Shaikh noted the focus on maintaining energy security, expanding the network, and investing in national needs. Looking ahead, Wafi Energy aims for operational excellence and strategic growth.
