Urdu bimonthly launched for Pre-Teen Children

‘Bachun ka Ashiyana’, Pakistan’s first Urdu bimonthly for children 3 to 12 years old, has recently been launched. The magazine combines learning with fun and contains stories, poems, comic stories, rhymes, fairy tales, challenging puzzles, drawing, jumbled jigsaws, observation games, and many more. A new addition to children’s literature, ‘Bachun ka Ashiyana’ sprinkles in children aged between 3 to 12 years with age-appropriate content – all in a fun, whimsical presentation and has primarily been designed to inspire creativity through artwork and crafts.

“We commonly find kids hooked to cellphones and gadgets, which is a matter of deep concern. Research reveals that children aged below 12 years and are using mobile-phones for a longer time could suffer from retarded brain growth, impacting their speech and hearing abilities and intellectual capacities. Instead, children should be provided with quality reading materials to develop their reading skills and enhance their reading comprehension ability,” said Muhammad Faisal Shahzad, Editor-in-Chief of _Bachun ka Ashiyana_.

‘Bachun ka Ashiyana’ is dedicated to providing young readers with a rich blend of education and entertainment. With a prime focus on character-building, the Urdu bimonthly provides pre-teen children with information and is an intriguing publication that features articles on science, sports, hobbies and more. Every issue is filled with riveting short fiction and engaging poetry, along with vivid photographs and features on history, and more. All in all, ‘_Bachun ka Ashiyana_’ is an enlightening magazine that captures the adventuresome spirit of children below 12 years.

Published by Ashiyana Publications every two months, the 100-page all-colour magazine is reasonably priced at just 150 rupees an issue.
