Zubair Tufail, President of the United Business Group (UBG), welcomed the joint defense agreement between Pakistan, Saudi Arabia, and Türkiye in Makkah Mukarramah. He described it as a significant step towards enhancing defense, diplomatic, and strategic cooperation among the three countries and a source of hope for the Muslim world. Tufail emphasized the importance of mutual trust and unity among Islamic nations and believed that closer cooperation would benefit not only the three countries but also the entire Muslim Ummah.
He expressed optimism that the agreement would foster cooperation in defense, technology, and joint training programs, while also encouraging enhanced trade and investment ties. Tufail highlighted the potential for economic collaboration and urged stronger linkages between the business communities of the three countries.
He maintained that the agreement was not aimed at any other nation but focused on promoting collective security and stability within the Muslim world, hoping it would elevate relations and solidarity among the countries involved.
