The Department of Library and Information Science at the University of Karachi, the Pakistan Library Club, and Koha Community Pakistan are organizing the second international two-day conference for library professionals, “Digital Horizon: Information Society and Future Landscape of Librarianship.” The inaugural ceremony will take place on August 22, 2024, Thursday, at 9:30 AM Morning at the Chinese Teachers Memorial Auditorium, University of Karachi.

Professor Dr. Khalid Iraqi, Vice Chancellor of Karachi University, will chair the ceremony. The Chief Guest will be the Chancellor and Governor of Sindh, Kamran Tessori. Library professionals, professors, doctors, researchers, Teachers, and others from various countries around the world, in addition to participants from Pakistan, will attend the conference, which will continue until Friday, August 23.
