TikTok hosts Creator Day event in Pakistan

TikTok hosted its first Creator Day event in Pakistan, uniting leading content creators for an immersive program designed to enhance creator education and the content landscape. The event highlighted key content categories like entertainment, sports, food, and learning, with tailored workshops and discussions for creators to improve content quality and engagement. A significant part of the training emphasized responsible content creation, safety features, and best practices for building sustainable careers.
Umais Naveed, TikTok’s Content Operations Lead for South Asia, stated, “Creator Day reflects our commitment to Pakistan’s creator community. We aim to equip creators with the tools and confidence needed to produce meaningful content.”
Attendee Dr. Daniyal described the experience as energizing, gaining fresh perspectives and new techniques to enhance content quality. Saria Khan, a sports content creator, noted that the event highlighted the importance of digital platforms in advancing women’s presence in sports, inspiring her to use storytelling to promote representation and visibility.
Creator Day is part of TikTok’s ongoing efforts to enhance creator skills and strengthen Pakistan’s content ecosystem through training and community initiatives.
