The Sundar Industrial Expo 2025 concluded on a high note, proving to be a landmark event for Punjab’s industrial sector. Held at Sundar Industrial Estate Lahore on February 19-20, the expo brought together key industry leaders, entrepreneurs, and policymakers, fostering collaboration and driving economic progress.
To honor the sponsors and exhibitors of the Sundar Industrial Expo, a special post-event ceremony was held at a local hotel. The ceremony celebrated their contributions and acknowledged their pivotal role in making the event a success.
The event saw participation from over 350 companies across multiple industries, including pharmaceutical, agriculture, engineering, food processing, packaging, automotive, electric vehicles, textile, IT, and paints. The expo successfully facilitated major business opportunities, with trade agreements exceeding $10 million signed between various companies within two days of the expo, and more are coming, as exhibitors told exhibition management in their feedback, a testament to its impact on economic growth and industrial expansion.
Syed Maaz Mahmood, Chairman and Chief Organizer of Sundar Industrial Expo 2025 and Senior Vice President (SVP) of STIA, highlighted the event’s significance, stating, “The overwhelming response to this expo underscores the strength of Pakistan’s industrial sector. The trade agreements signed during this event will significantly contribute to exports, attracting foreign investments and strengthening our economy.” He also commended Pakistan’s armed forces for ensuring a secure environment essential for business growth and industrial expansion.
Muhammad Ahmed Khan, President, Board of Management, Sundar Industrial Estate, expressed optimism about the expo’s outcomes, saying, “This event has played a crucial role in connecting industries, promoting innovation, and securing business deals that will lead to long-term economic benefits.” He applauded SIFC, saying, “It is a great initiative for the country that has brought confidence not only to local businesses but also to foreign investors from across the globe.”
Maj. (R) Javed Iqbal, Chairman, Punjab Industrial Estates Development and Management Company, reaffirmed the government’s dedication to industrialization, stating, “The government remains committed to providing an enabling environment for industries to thrive. This expo is a success, strongly indicating Pakistan’s potential in manufacturing and export growth.”
Mian Fahim Qamar, Patron-in-Chief of Sundar Trade and Industry Association, lauded the expo’s participation and achievements, saying, “The connections and collaborations formed at this event will drive innovation, expand businesses, and elevate Pakistan’s position in global markets.”
