The SME sector is the backbone of industry and economy, Salman Aslam

Former President Federation of Pakistan Chambers of Commerce and Industry (FPCCI) and Acting Patron-in-Chief of United Business Group, Zubair Tufail viaited Korangi Association of Trade and Industry (KATI) to congratulate the newely elected President Salman Aslam. He said that in order to strengthen Pakistan economy, all sectors of the country, especially traders and industrialists, need to fully support the positive suggestions and initiatives taken by the government.

The Korangi Industrial Area has played an important role in vaccinating industrial workers against the COVID-19 pandemic, which is commendable. KATI President Salman Aslam said on the occasion that the United Business Group led by SM Muneer is a great and excellent platform for the country’s traders and industrialists, through which UBG is able to highlight the problems of the business community and solve them.

President KATI said that SMEs (Small and Medium Enterprises) are the backbone of any country’s industrial and economic development. He said that no institution can develop without capital, in this regard the banking sector has to play its full role and the SME sector should provide loans on easy terms. Salman Aslam said that gas, electricity and petrol prices are causing severe difficulties in the production process and making it difficult to meet foreign export orders. He further said that Under the Leadership of Zubair Tufail KATI will support all the efforts of UBG. Both leaders agreed that their mutual role is vital to strengthen ghe economy.
