Shan Sehgal, Vice President of the Hyderabad Chamber of Small Traders & Small Industry (HCSTSI), participated in the 7th Investor Summit held at the National Incubation Centre (NIC) in Hyderabad, where investors, startups, and industry leaders held detailed, purposeful discussions to promote founder-led innovation.
While addressing the gathering, Shan Sehgal appreciated the efforts of Qahafa Azad, Program Manager at NIC, and her team. He stated that such programs not only provide young entrepreneurs with access to investors but also offer practical mentorship, market understanding, and opportunities for business expansion. He emphasised that strong collaboration between incubation centres and trade organisations is essential for business growth, enabling innovative ideas to be transformed into sustainable enterprises.
During the summit, various activities were held, including in-depth evaluations of startup ideas, one-on-one meetings with investors, strategic guidance sessions, and discussions on business scaling and investment opportunities. On this occasion, Shan Sehgal shared practical advice with startup leaders and encouraged them to expand their businesses by taking advantage of Chamber membership.
The Investor Summit served as a forum for meaningful dialogue, strong partnerships, and the promotion of a trust-based business environment, where various investment institutions and business organisations participated and reaffirmed their commitment to strengthening the local startup ecosystem.
The Vice President stated that the Hyderabad Chamber of Small Traders & Small Industry will continue to play a bridging role between young entrepreneurs, small industrialists, and investors, with the aim of promoting business activities across Hyderabad and Sindh and contributing positively to the national economy.
