Arts Council of Pakistan Karachi & Al-Hamra Arts council Lahore Jointly Organized 4 days International Islamic Art Festival on Thursday. Speaking as the guest of honor at the opening ceremony of the four-day International Islamic Art Festival in collaboration with the Arts Council of Pakistan Karachi and Al-Hamra.
President of Arts Council of Pakistan Karachi Muhammad Ahmad Shah said that Lahore is the center of civilization of the sub-continent which is more than a thousand years old. There are beautiful languages and cultures in different regions of Pakistan and we should unite them all, cities and regions artists and intellectuals, They are recognized by poets and writers, rulers come and go, artists, poets and writers live forever because of their work and they become the identity of their land. Adviser Interior and Information Umar Sarfraz Cheema inaugurated the four-day International Islamic Art Festival in which Including Pakistan, Turkey, Iran, Egypt, Algeria, Yemen, The artworks of artists from Saudi Arabia, Malaysia and other Islamic countries have been displayed. Muhammad Ahmad Shah said that we built the Karachi Arts Council with our own hands and today we are the representative arts council of Pakistan and culture at the international level.
He said that the Arts Council of Pakistan, Karachi is the art council of the whole of Pakistan, on which the government does not interfere, due to which the change of governments does not affect us. He said that the encouragement of artists, poets, writers is very important, the identity of the land and civilization is made from the artists, unfortunately our rulers did not try to keep in touch with this intellectual class, He said that our partnership with Lahore Al-Hamra in the development of art and culture is on a strong foundation and we will continue this partnership.
Muhammad Ahmad Shah said that Arts Council of Pakistan Karachi Patronizing the Arts Councils of Sindh to encourage artists, writers and poets of small towns and to provide healthy activities and recreational programs to the people there, he said that the Arts Council of Pakistan Karachi will organize culture activities at Muzaffarabad, Hunza, Skardu. While we are going to organize Pakistan Literature Festival in America, Canada and twenty other countries of the world, in which the culture and civilization of Pakistan will be introduced around the world. Muhammad Ahmad Shah said that Arts Council of Pakistan actively participated in the development of Islamic art. Razi Ahmed, Executive Director of Al Hamra Zulfiqar Ali Zulfi, Director of Turkish Cultural Center Erin Biasulu, Director General Khana Farhang Erin Jafar Ronas and others expressed their views.۔
