The research house – AHL Research in Pakistan, believes that the topline of Tariq Glass Industries Limited (TGL) will improve from the first quarter of FY25. The company sells glassware, dinnerware, opal glass, and float glass in-house. It exports its products to Sri Lanka, Saudi Arabia, Afghanistan, and other countries, while domestic sales account for most of its revenue.

Recall that, after serving their useful lives, one plant from the Tableware Plant and one from Float Glass (unit 1) closed for reconstruction last year. The furnace of the Float Glass Plant (Unit-1 with a capacity of 550 metric tons per day) is ready and will be placed back in production in the first quarter of the next financial year.

Meanwhile, the company has installed and commissioned a New Spectrum Mirror Coating line, High-Speed Double Gob Press Machine and Six Colours Pad Printing Production Line, which will result in efficient production and improve the quality of the products.

Considering the curbs on the import of tableware glass by the SBP, we expect demand for local glass to continue. With the upgradation of plants and new projects, the company will be able to fill the gap of importing tableware and float glass products.
