Pakistan Tanners Association (PTA) (Central Office), Mr Muhammad Mehr Ali, newly elected Chairman of PTA (Central Office) for 2023, has stated in a statement that the leather industry is of vital importance to the economy of Pakistan, being 2nd foreign exchange earner.

While presiding over the Central Executive Committee held on 10th December 2022 at Karachi and Northern Office via zoom, he presented a vision of PTA in future for the betterment of the leather industry worldwide.

He gave 06 visions agenda, namely.

1) Research Cell,

2) International Affiliation,

3) Annual Dinner,

4) Social Media,

5) Media Coordination

6) Decentralize Standing Committees.
