Sui Southern Gas Company (SSGC) hereby denies all such news reports claiming suspension of gas during Iftaar hours, terming them contrary to the facts and misleading. SSGC’s management is closely monitoring the gas supply. However, the company acknowledges that some households may face low gas pressure or temporary disruption in gas supply due to the illegal use of compressors in their neighbourhood.

Due to the increased domestic consumption, gas supply issues often arise during winter and Ramzan. SSGC has taken necessary measures to manage the enhanced demand and maintain smooth distribution.

To monitor the gas supply situation, 24/7 operational control rooms have been established, where senior management, including the Managing Director, oversee operations to ensure uninterrupted gas supply, especially during Sehar and Iftaar hours when gas demand significantly increases.

In accordance with the directives of the Federal Government, SSGC is making all-out efforts to ensure an uninterrupted gas supply from 3:00 am until 10:30 pm.

Consumers who are not receiving adequate gas supply shall lodge their complaint by calling our 24/7 operational helpline 1199, or by approaching SSGC through our social media platforms or mobile application. Their complaints will be addressed ona  priority basis.
