Standard Chartered has successfully concluded the Karachi United Youth Football League for the eighth consecutive year, reinforcing its commitment to promoting sports among children. The 2025 league engaged 1,400 young footballers from underserved areas and has involved over 9,000 players since its inception in 2017.
This year’s tournament, which ran from October 2025, featured 204 matches. Tasneem Mirza from Standard Chartered noted that the league fosters youth sports and community engagement. CEO Imran Ali highlighted the league’s growth to the largest youth football competition in Pakistan, emphasising inclusion and social impact. The initiative not only develops talent but also encourages community ownership and opportunities for young people.
