SSGC’s Farman wins Pakistan day cycle race

SSGC’s Cyclist Farman Mohammad clinched the 23 kms Ring Road Pakistan National Day Cycle Race, organized in Peshawar by Khyber-Pakhtunkhwa Cycling Association. He covered the distance in 38:20 minutes. Sadiq Ullah of Bikestan Cycling Academy, Karachi and Umer Farooq of Mardan Division secured 2ND and 3RD spots respectively. Another SSGC cyclist Yousuf secured the 5TH position.

The race was organized under the patronage of Syed Azhar Ali Shah, President Pakistan Cycling Federation and was contested by more 40 riders representing various divisions and clubs.

DG Information Muhammad Imran was the Chief Guest at the closing ceremony who distributed the certificates, prizes and trophies amongst the winners. President Khyber-Pakhtunkhwa Cycling Association Engr. Syed Shayan Ali Shah and Secretary Muhammad Ali, Nisar Ahmed along with notables of city were also present on this occasion.

Imran Maniar, Managing Director, SSGC, Asif Ansari, Secretary Sports and Arif Waheed Khan, Team Manager applauded SSGC riders on their excellent performance.
