Sui Southern Gas Company has been pulling out all stops to reduce incidents of gas theft in its franchise provinces of Sindh and Balochistan. In an intensive anti-gas theft crackdown drive in the Larkana region, CGTO Larkana, along with Theft Section and Distribution Larkana, conducted a raid on Yasmeen Medical Center. The culprit, Abdul Khaliq Shaikh, was caught red-handed using gas directly for this medical centre located at Sachal Colony, opposite IBA Public School, Larkana. He was illegally using gas for power generation and other related equipment in this medical centre. A First Information Report (FIR) has been lodged against the accused, and claims are being raised accordingly.

It should be noted that SSGC teams are taking aggressive steps in gas theft-infested areas with the special help and full coordination of local police and will continue to eliminate this evil from society. Low-pressure complaints are reduced when such actions are taken, and customers receive better gas pressures. The Company requests that its esteemed customers come forward and report incidents of gas theft in their communities so that this evil can be eradicated from society.
