The Small and Medium Enterprises Development Authority (SMEDA) has partnered with the Pakistan Association of Automotive Parts & Accessories Manufacturers (PAAPAM) for the 21st Pakistan Auto Parts Show (PAPS) 2026, scheduled for September 18-20, 2026, at the Expo Center, Lahore. This collaboration aims to support Micro, Small, and Medium Enterprises (MSMEs) in line with the Ministry of Industries and Production’s strategic goals.

Haroon Akhtar Khan, Special Assistant to the Prime Minister, emphasized the government’s commitment to empowering MSMEs and enhancing the automotive sector’s resilience. He stressed the importance of the auto show as a platform for local manufacturing, innovation, and investment.

Nadia Jahangir Seth, SMEDA’s CEO, highlighted the potential of the automotive sector for SME-driven growth, and the strategic partnership aims to provide MSMEs a platform to showcase their capabilities. Salman Saleem, PAPS 2026 convener, welcomed SMEDA’s involvement, which will enhance SME participation and promote indigenous manufacturing under the “Make in Pakistan” vision. A symposium will also be held during the event to help chart a roadmap for the future.
